Why I Don’t Recommend Visiting Vegas During F1 Week (Unless You’re Going to the Race)

 Las Vegas is gearing up for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, and while the city looks stunning in all the promo videos, the reality for visitors (and locals!) during race week is a very different story. If you’re planning to visit Vegas but not attend F1, here’s what you should know: 🚧 Massive Road Closures and Blocked Views The Strip is being turned into a racetrack — literally. This means many of the best viewpoints, walkways, and even pedestrian bridges are either closed or heavily restricted. The famous Bellagio fountains? Blocked by grandstands. Many of the city’s most iconic photo spots and experiences are completely blocked — including the Bellagio fountains , Paris Las Vegas views , and the LINQ promenade area near the High Roller. Pedestrian bridges are restricted or rerouted, making it hard to walk between hotels.
